A month already!

We had a houseful of visitors to see Sydney after the first week. She was happy to see them all.
She is definitely loved by Aunt Jen.

And Lanie is getting to know her.

Grandma says that Sydney puts her to sleep. I think she is right.

Laurie and Lisa were very welcomed visitors. She will love playing with all of her cousins as she grows up.

Sydney and mom at 1 week. I should have appreciated the amount that she was sleeping.
I love this goofy picture of her.
Sydney's first time going outside to enjoy nature.
Daddy loves the 'Al Bundy' move that she always seems to do in the bouncer.
This is her first real bath after her belly button healed. It is one of my favorite pictures of her.

Sydney is celebrating Grandpa's birthday with him.
Uncle Dan and Chloe got to meet her at Dad's for his birthday. She found Uncle Joe very comfortable.
She got to meet her much more family. Here Claire and Andrea get to meet her as well.

Lanie got to see her again for my birthday. She finally warmed up to the idea of holding her. She also is very helpful, she wants to help every time we have to change her diaper.

I dressed her up for her 1 month photos, they aren't professional, but they will have to due.
I love her expression in this photo, I call her "my little turtle" when she is on her belly.

What a Week!

We came home from the hospital after a good nights sleep, thanks to nurse Kathy. She was a lifesaver.

This is my favorite picture so far with Sydney and I.

Sydney had her first trip out at 4 days old to her first doctors appointment. It went very well, she is just a little one at 14% for her weight but she is putting on weight from when she left the hospital, Yay!

One of my favorite pictures of Sydney and Daddy.

Sydney's first spongebath. I wouldn't say she loved it.

JD loved Sydney and he is such a good boy, very gentle with her. We loved the visit from Jen, JD and Ella.

I love these pictures of her. She is just so cute and funny.

Unexpected.

She is here, a week early and she has thrown off my plans already. Better get used to that!
She was arrived at 3:38am on Friday, July 31, 2009 after a fairly easy labor. She weighed in at 6 lb 12 oz and was 18 3/4 inches.

Thank goodness for a great team. Dr. Takyi an Jessica were great, and Rich even though he is not in the picture.Proud Daddy! Our predelivery visitors luckily didn't have to wait too long in the waiting room. The next day there was nonstop visitors. Sydney will be very loved.

There were many more visitors as well. Thank you to all for all the wonderful company and gifts. We appreciate it everything very much.

Preparing to go home!
Her first car ride home.
